His paintings invite viewers to pause and reconsider the familiar\, revealing new stories\, emotions\, and connections within subjects that often go unnoticed. The exhibition’s title\, The Familiar Reimagined\, reflects Bruckner’s artistic approach. Rather than simply depicting recognizable imagery\, he transforms ordinary subjects into vibrant works that celebrate nostalgia\, curiosity\, and imagination. By reinterpreting places\, objects\, and cultural icons that connect us through shared experience\, his paintings encourage viewers to see the commonplace with fresh eyes and discover new meaning in what they thought they already knew. \nAmong the exhibition’s highlights are Bruckner’s celebrated paintings of Boston’s iconic CITGO Sign\, which reinterpret one of New England’s most recognizable landmarks through vibrant color and expressive composition. The exhibition also debuts several never-before-seen paintings\, offering visitors an opportunity to experience his newest work alongside a selection of recent favorites. \nWhether visitors are longtime followers of Bruckner’s work or encountering it for the first time\, The Familiar Reimagined offers an engaging experience that celebrates the enduring power of visual storytelling and reminds us that even the most familiar images can reveal something entirely new. \nExhibition Dates: September 3–30\, 2026\nArtist Reception: Wednesday\, September 9\, 2026; 6:30–8:30 pm; 530 Washington St.\, Wellesley\, MA \nAbout the Artist\nEddie Bruckner is a Needham\, Massachusetts-based contemporary artist whose bold acrylic paintings reinterpret everyday subjects through the lens of Pop Art.
