Dayle Bodnar has painted in a variety of media including oil, watercolor, and most recently, acrylic. Working with oil, she has painted still lifes in the classical style, and using watercolors on rice paper, landscapes and flowers. Currently, using acrylics, Dayle is focusing on landscape painting where she enjoys the challenges and opportunities of mixing hues to create an interplay of color and light that draws the observer ever deeper into the distance of the natural world. Dayle enjoys painting scenes of her native New England and other places she has visited.
