As an artist, Nancy wants to draw people to the environment surrounding us, finding beauty and inspiration within natural spaces. She tries to provide a sense of place and time within each of her paintings. Nancy also tries to focus on one particular element which captivates with its singular beauty….whether it is the transparent loveliness of a bee landing on a flower or the unique texture of a highland cow. Nancy usually paints in watercolor, adding ink, rice paper, and found objects to deepen the texture of her work.
