Pari Ravel began painting in 2013 as she was undergoing immune therapy treatment for an auto immune disorder. Painting has been a means for her to have hope and joy in her life as she has been dealing with health issues the past 10 years. Pari is 78 yeas old and a grandmother to 6 wonderful grand children who also reside in Wellesley. She is a self taught artist and has spent time watching techniques in painting on various YouTube channels to enhance her skills as an artist. Pari uses acrylics in her painting and many of her paintings are the work of her imagination and love of nature. Pari signs her paintings as “Ma Ma Pari” which his how her grandchildren refer to her as their grandmother.
