Suzanne Lingeman — “Egrets in Everglades” (24×36)

Sue Lingeman has exhibited her work at the Artist Association of Nantucket’s Johnson Gallery for the last 50 years as well as the Concord Artists’s Association. She has been juried into shows at both Nantucket and Concord Art Associations, as well as the Copley Society of Artists. Sue began her studies at the Museum of Fine Arts then studied for many years with Irmgard Arvan of Nantucket, and George Dergalis of Wayland. Currently she studies with Maris Platais of Carlisle. Sue says, “I enjoy experimenting with color and form to create a particular mood. By using complimentary color, light against dark and warm against cool, I try to create contrast and excitement. My subjects, medium and techniques vary widely as I find stimulation in exploring new directions.”
