Zoë is an oil painter living and working in Boston, MA. She received her BA in studio art and art history from Connecticut College. Zoë’s artwork explores the encroachment of the man-made world and the unnaturalness that comes along with it. She aims to capture the feeling that something doesn’t quite belong, to delve into the bizarre merging of human influence and the innocence of nature.
The combination of these two things can, in some cases, be beneficial. In other cases, the constant change that the natural world is subjected to is an eerie, unusual thing to witness. Zoë wants her artwork to question the effects of these two ideas, and she hopes to push the boundaries of what is considered natural and right.
