“Gratitude”

The word “gratitude” has a number of different meanings, however, a practical  definition is —gratitude is the appreciation of what is valuable and meaningful to oneself; it is a general state of thankfulness and/or appreciation. Research also confirms that there is an association between gratitude and a sense of overall well being. For this show, artists are invited to consider and explore the theme of “Gratitude” . 

• All WSA exhibiting members are invited to register for this show.   “Register Here”.
• Artists are allowed one registration each and the fee is $20.
• Size limitation for the library show is 580 square inches which includes the frame.
• PLEASE read the WSA juried exhibition policies . 
• It is important to take a good picture of your artwork in case you win an award and for show publicity. Please send jpegs to Nancy Treves ntreves@mac.com.
• The judge for this show is artist Nancy Deveno. There will be cash awards for first, second, and third place, up to four honorable mentions (non cash). There will also award given in memory of WSA member Nancy Payne “Nancy Payne Memorial Award for the Best Watercolor”. 
• Artwork drop off is on Tuesday, April 1st 1:00-2:00pm  at the Wellesley Free Library located at 530 Washington Street. If you are not able to drop off during this time, please contact another WSA member, ask a friend, or contact one of the show chairs in advance to make arrangements.
• The awards will be announced Saturday, April 5 at 1pm just before the annual joint WSA/NAA artist demo with Nancy Friese.

• The show closes on April 30, artwork pick up is 9:00-10:00am.
