Rose loves art and it has been her passion since she was a young child in China, but she never had the opportunity to learn as her education focused on becoming a nurse and physician. Finally after retiring from 13 years working at University of Massachusetts Memorial Hospital, she finally has had time to focus on her art education. She enjoys local life drawing classes and online classes always striving to learn more. Rose has also taken workshops with Michelle Dunaway, Daniel Keys, Mark Boedges, Michael Shane Neal, and Dawn Whitelaw to name a few. She is a practicing artist committed to developing strong observational skills and craftsmanship. Her work explores form, light, and color through drawing and painting (oil), with a focus on continued growth and study.
