Donations
The Wellesley Society of Artists, Inc. is committed to promoting the fine arts in the Greater Boston area. We promote local artists and secure exhibit space to share high quality art with the community. Our educational meetings that include demonstrations and critiques by renowned artists in various media are all free and open to the public. Through our website, we also share resources. The WSA proudly promotes artistic talent in our youth through the annual WSA Art Achievement Award which is given to a rising senior at the Wellesley High School.
During the past year we:
- Organized Eight Art Exhibitions, Seven Artist Demonstrations and Art Related Talks
- Provided Art Education Resources
- Participated in Annual Veterans Parade
- Awarded a $1000 Art Achievement Award to two Wellesley High School Students
- Participant in 2025 “Festival of Trees” to benefit the Massachusetts Horticultural Society
- Holiday Ornament and Art Sale to benefit the Wellesley Historical Society
Our membership fees are modest, and the Wellesley Society of Artists cannot fulfill our mission without the generous donations of supporters and sponsors.
Please consider making a donation to the WSA. Our organization is a 501 (c)(3) and all donations are tax deductible to the full extent of the law.
- Patron: $2500 and above
- Sponsor: $1000 and above
- Friend: Up to $1000
- If you are interested in sponsoring a specific event ($300-$400) or an art award at one of our exhibitions ($200-$300), please contact us.
- Make contributions to WSA through your donor-advised fund.
- If you are 72 or older, make a direct distribution through your IRA to the WSA. The gift counts against your RMD and provides extra tax benefits. Contact your IRA administrator and they will provide a short form for you to complete that states the amount of your gift and authorizes the administrator to make the distribution of X dollars from your IRA.
Donations of all amounts are welcome and appreciated.
