“Inspired By” Exhibition at the Wellesley Free Library
The Wellesley Society of Artists presents “Inspired By” at the Wellesley Free Library, Wakelin Room, March 2-31. This unique exhibition features artwork inspired by a favorite artist. Over 30 member artists showcase their eclectic styles and genres all inspired by artists from Rembrandt to Wolf Kahn.
Join us for the awards reception on March 22 at 1:30pm. The awards announcement will be followed by a panel discussion, “Who’s Your Muse?” with WSA members Darryl Abbey, Johan Ellefsen, Pilar Figueira, Ginit Marten, Yale Nicolls, Mark Richards, and Robert Savage who will discuss how their artwork was inspired by a particular artist’s style or genre. This will be an informal dialogue with audience members about how each of us draws from the collective art community to create works that both inspire us and those around us.
Free and Open to the Public.
