Awakenings 2022

AWAKENINGS THEME

Awakenings is a word that is defined as waking from sleep, rousing from inactivity or renewing interest, and coming into an awareness. Its many associations that are both literal and metaphorical inspire our collective imagination to begin anew. 45 member artists from the Wellesley Society of Artists submitted artwork inspired by this theme, and many donated any sale proceeds to support Ukrainian aid.
