The Wellesley Society of Artists presented its third virtual show, WINTER 2021, featuring the artwork of 55 of our exhibiting members. The exhibition was juried by artist Leslie Graff, a faculty member of the Danforth Art Museum School whose work is held in numerous private and institutional collections around the world.

The winning WSA Member Artists received cash prizes. To read the judge’s comments, visit our Award-Winning Art Gallery. Award winners were:
First Place: Nan Rumpf “Black Ice”
Second Place: Maria Babb “Spiral Rock”
Third Place: Deborah Friedman “Fallen Leaves”
Honorable Mentions: Ken Northrup “In the Black Hills”; Linda Zug “Maine Coast”; Martha Marson “A Triangle of Blue”; Nancy Treves “Dudley”

In addition to the awards identified by our juror, we invited the public to participate by voting for their favorite. Congratulations to Margie McGrail Michals for winning the Peoples Choice Award with her watercolor painting of “New Growth.”
