Anna Papok

Natick, MA

Anna Papok has loved to paint and draw since childhood. She attended a children’s art school, and later studied in Moscow school of Architecture, where she found her attraction to graphic art (pen and ink drawing). After emigrating to the US, she attended classes at the Danforth Art School in Framingham, MA, studying painting with instructor Ruth Scotch. Anna currently studies still life in an online class with instructor Kelli Folsom. She painted in watercolor, then moved into oils, but never lost her passion for pen and ink drawing and continues to use this technique.

She says that nothing can be more perfect than nature, always finds her inspiration in it, and loves painting landscapes. She loves that mundane and usual objects turn into something magical on canvas, telling their own story.

Anna is also a member of the Framingham Artist Guild and has received several awards in local exhibitions.
