Catherine Gruetzke-Blais

Influenced by nature and fractal theory, Catherine Gruetzke-Blais works from her studio, at Howard Street Studios in Framingham, in a variety of media including acrylic paint, collage, and watercolor. She completed MAT and BFA Degrees from Tufts University and the School of the Museum of Fine Arts. A fine artist and teacher, Catherine teaches art at the Fay School in Southborough. Catherine’s art is created intuitively and is often nature based, ranging from semi to completely abstracted. Color interaction, rhythm, and texture are always very important and present in her work. Additionally, Catherine has designed for and painted public art projects in the towns of Dedham and Natick.
